Phyllis Spencer Emmons Hall, passed away peacefully at her home on her 90th birthday. She was born January 10, 1929 in Havre, Montana, a daughter of the late Leonard and Hermine Pasma Spencer. Phyllis was a retired teachers aide with the Fleming County School System, a homemaker. She was a member of Tilton Christian Church and loved gardening. Phyllis loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by: two sons, Lonnie (Vickie) Emmons of Hillsboro and Barry (Carol) Emmons of Hillsboro; five grandchildren, Chris Emmons, Kevin Emmons, Keith Emmons, Samantha Lamkin, and Amanda Jolly; nine great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Louise Medley of Bloomington, IL; and a brother, Kenneth Spencer of Lexington. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by: a son, Jackie Emmons; and a sister, Genevieve Butcher. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Monday, January 14, 2019 in the chapel of Carpenter-Fritz & Vice Funeral Home officiated by Bro. Jim Wilson. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Sunday, January 13th at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fleming County Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Emmons Kevin Emmons, Keith Emmons, Brandon Emmons, Timmy Emmons, and Tyler Emmons. Honorary pallbearer will be Donnie Christman.
